Alzheimer’s Tennessee

Alzheimer’s Tennessee has numerous resources for caregivers, including virtual support groups, care consultations, and helpline at 1-800-259-4283

There is an Alzheimer’s Support Group meeting at the First Baptist in Kingston from 1:30-3:00 the 3rd Monday of each month.

Family Promise

Family Promise of Roane County works to prevent and end family homelessness with access to shelter and stabilization through the coordination of community resources.

Grace Point Camp & Retreat Center

Grace Point is a ministry is to create an environment that fosters love and acceptance. People can be themselves, experience love, learn about responsibility in a community, learn acceptance of themselves and others, and experience the love of God.

GriefShare

Grief Share is a video seminar and support group that addresses topics about coping with grief and loss. You can sign-up for daily emails of encouragement and find a group close to you. Grief Share has online groups and in person groups.

There is an in person Grief Share group at Bethel Presbyterian in Kingston from 4:00-5:30 every Sunday evening.

Home Assistance

Senior Citizens Home Assistance provides a range of services so individuals can remain in their homes for as long as possible. A financial assessment is completed to determine fee for services.

Care Around the Block provides professional care management, caregiving services, and home safety assessments.

Sunshine Ambassadors, Inc. is dedicated to providing opportunities for all people to experience enhanced life quality through dance.
